Story

Back to our roots. Our first project is re-release of our very first flexi disc release back in 1991, this time on 7" vinyl. Originally accompanied Akiko's fanzine 5000 Miles from George Square vol.4, the final issue before moving onto setting up Sugarfrost. This release comes with 2 tin badges, in hand-printed wraparound sleeve. Limited 200 copies. Also see photos of the project

New World by Venus Peter from Tokyo is a remarkable song, just that flow and the guitar sound is really the essence of what it was in 1990. They went on to become one of the most influential indie bands of the era in Japan. Still, I hear many fans refer to this version (another smoother version exists) is their best track.

Graeme Elston is needless to say THE Sugarfrost artist, starting from Love Parade here, then Pure, which changed name to Eva Luna later. This track was recorded on the year Graeme started his university course in Liverpool.

This was the beginning.
